Root canal (endodontic) treatment treats the inside of the
tooth is removed the nerve or pulp. If
decay infects the chamber where the nerve, the only way to save the tooth without removing it is doing a root canal.
Inside the tooth is a pulp consists of blood vessels, lymph vessels and nerves that nourish the tooth. The root canals containing pulp extend to the terminal from the root to the bone.
A deep cavity or an injury to the tooth surface can cause severe damage and infection in the nerves and vessels of the pulp. Endodontics or root canal treatment is to clean the pulp chamber and canals infected and then placing a filling material to seal the spaces that were previously cleaned and disinfected.
